Can all dents be removed with PDR?
Not all dents can be repaired using paintless dent removal (PDR). This technique is most effective for minor dents where the paint remains intact. PDR may not be suitable for dents with sharp creases, those located near panel edges, or dents that have significantly stretched the metal, such as very deep or large dents. In these cases, traditional repair methods may be necessary. How long does it take?
The duration of PDR varies depending on the extent of the damage. Minor dings can often be repaired in as little as a few minutes to an hour. More extensive damage, such as hail damage affecting multiple panels, may require a full day or longer to complete the repair process. How much does it cost?
The cost of PDR can vary significantly based on the size and complexity of the damage. Small dings may cost as little as $50, while larger or more intricate repairs can cost several hundred dollars. Generally, PDR is a more cost-effective and quicker alternative to traditional body shop repairs for eligible dents.
